            Sensei Barnhart moved to Florida in 1984, and currently works as a computer programmer at Kennedy Space Center. He has been training at the Okinawan Karate Dojo since 1991, he holds the title of 5th Dan, Renshi (translated means clean and polish the style), SRKUSAUDGMAU. Sensei Barnhart, chief instructor of the Okinawan Karate Dojo is most appreciated for his wonderful sense of humor and his focus on the technical aspects of Kata. He instructs classes four times per week. Sensei Barnhart, also holds the title, Head the Dojo maintenance department and has been happily married to Sensei Judy since 1998!

    Sensei Au, 3rd Dan, SRKUSAUDGMAU, joined the Okinawan Karate Dojo in June of 2000. He was born in Hong Kong and studied Jeet Kune Do for many years.

He teaches on Wednesdays and adds an excitement and understanding

 of the kata, while staying focused on tradition. He is most appreciated

 for starting his class exactly on time and ending precisely 60 minutes

 later. Sensei Au is employed at Kennedy Space Center.

Visiting Instructor

    Shane Scaglione, Shane Scaglione has been on the yoga path since 1998 and started a daily practice in Los Angles, CA in 2003.  He has been teaching in Boulder since 2005 and currently teaches 7 to 15 classes a week.  He completed Sivananda's 200 hour month long residential Teacher Intensive in 2003 in Grass Valley, CA.  He completed Richard Freeman's 200 hour month long Intensive at the Yoga Workshop in Boulder, CO in July 2008 that featured asana, sanskrit chanting, philosophy, cadaver labs, and a 16 hour meditation retreat.  He continues a daily practice with Richard Freeman and his senior teachers.  He has lived over a year abroad in India including extensive travels, and studies with a senior Iyengar teacher Usha Devi in Rishikesh, and also studies of the Ashtanga system with senior Ashtanga Yoga teacher Rolf Naujokat in Goa and Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore.
